The “Impossible” Twin Peaks
(June 11, 2007)
- Add another puzzle to the litany of Martian anomalies: two “impact”
craters side by side, both with central peaks terminating in craters. Though
the 3D visualization of the two craters above exaggerates depth, the image
accents the kind of mysteries that have been causing increasing headaches,
confusion, and contradiction among NASA scientists. No formative process
envisioned by planetary science ever anticipated the central peaks of the
craters seen in the images above terminating as they do in a second crater. We
have unsuccessfully sought to find some reference by NASA investigators to the
forms exhibited by these enigmatic features. The craters occur in a region of
the southern hemisphere that planetary scientists consider to be dominated by
impacts. But to account for the forms seen here, the impact hypothesis must
summon the inconceivable. Scientists have been able to produce “rebound”
elevations in explosion craters. They also have a theoretical “analogy” in the
rebound effect that occurs in thick fluids into which an object is dropped.
But they have no reasonable analog for the steep peaks witnessed above, and
the idea of two secondary impacts striking these peaks head-on is simply
beyond belief. It should be obvious, therefore, that the presence of two
craters exhibiting the same anomaly, and standing side-by-side, categorically
excludes the impact hypothesis. As we have noted in previous pictures of the
day, electrical discharge experiments easily produce craters with central
peaks. So it is no stretch at all to envision a discharge event excavating the
kind of craters seen above, including the pinnacles in their centers. One
mechanism on which some electrical theorists have speculated is the
possibility that these elevated peaks became “lightning rods” for secondary
strokes carving out craters on their summits. Expecting secondary arcs to
preferentially return along a prior conductive path is allowable, while
expecting subsequent random ballistic impactors to be preferentially drawn to
the central spires of pre-existing craters (with or without obliterating them)
is not. But Wallace Thornhill offers another perspective. Though he does not
rule out the principle of a secondary discharge, he notes that many central
peaks are not symmetrical, and that non-symmetry would give rise to misshapen
arc-erosion of the central peak, rather than the neatly central hollows we
see.

Astronomy Picture of
the Day
(May 28, 2007) -
Discover the cosmos!
Each day a different image or photograph of our fascinating universe is
featured, along with a brief explanation written by a professional
astronomer.
A Hole in Mars Credit:
NASA,
JPL,
U. Arizona
Explanation: Black spots have been
discovered on Mars that are so dark that nothing inside can be seen. Quite
possibly,
the spots are entrances to deep
underground caves capable of protecting
Martian life, were it to exist. The unusual hole pictured above was
found on the slopes of the giant Martian volcano
Arsia Mons. The above image was captured three weeks ago by the
HiRISE instrument onboard the
Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter currently circling
Mars. The
holes were originally identified on lower resolution images from the
Mars Odyssey spacecraft, The above hole is about the size of a
football field and is so deep that it is completely
unilluminated by the Sun. Such holes and
underground caves might be prime targets for
future spacecraft,
robots, and even the next generation of
human interplanetary explorers.

Hoagland's
MARS: Volume II
(February 27, 1992)
- UN Briefing and UFO footage analysis by
Richard C. Hoagland. He discusses the Mars connection as well talking about
the face on Mars and the Cydonia region of Mars. 1 hr 51 min

Tom Corbett, Space Cadet (August
24, 2006) - In 1992, an architect in Atlanta, Ga., specializing
in sacred geometry, presented a series of View Master slides to Enterprise principal investigator Richard C. Hoagland. This
architect was not only a specialist in "block walls and concrete," but
was also a member of certain secret society -- the Masons. The slides
he provided depicted a space adventure through the solar system, from
the Moon to Mars and beyond to the Asteroid Belt. In the story, an
ancient civilization was found by "asteroid miners" to have once
existed on a former planet between Mars and Jupiter. This civilization
left behind a calling card: a series of "tetrahedral" pyramids with
"magical" properties -- like anti-gravity --discovered in the Asteroid
Belt and on the Moon. Sound familiar? It should. But the source is
even more intriguing. After receiving this data more than eight years
ago, we began to re-assess our perspective on just how long "they" may
have known about Cydonia. Enterprise principal investigator
Richard C. Hoagland then spent the better part of the next decade --
and several tens of thousands of dollars -- tracking down the
principals behind the creation of this particular product and
establishing what connections, if any, there were to the various
players behind the scenes at NASA. Eventually, as we developed our
"stellar ritual alignment" model and it's connections to the belief
systems of various "secret societies" involved at the highest levels
of our space program, we became even more suspicious that somebody may
have had a pre-conceived idea that there was something "down there" at
Cydonia (see below). We then began to dig into the background of the
Tom Corbett universe, and some even more interesting linkages began to
appear. Based on Robert Heinlein's juvenile novel SPACE CADET
published in 1948, "Tom Corbett, Space Cadet" was something of a
multimedia phenomenon from 1950-55. Books, comics, and all manner of
radio and TV versions were produced in great abundance during this
period. This futuristic property was used to educate and encourage
young minds to get interested in space travel and science. Now
however, it appears that it was used for something more -- to educate
and encourage young minds about the reality of the
Exploding Planet Hypothesis, the
Face on Mars,
artifacts on the Moon, and
Hyperdimensional Physics. For there, buried in a series of View
Master slides created in 1955,
four years before "Brookings,"
is virtually the entire history
of the Cydonia investigation in one form or another. Given that that
report called for a process of "conditioning" the general public in
advance of announcing that "artifacts" had been found in the solar
system, and this blatant reference is exactly just such a tool, the
question is begged: What did they know? And when, exactly, did they
know it? more... |
Mars/Cydonia
| I've
done some research into the face and pyramids on Mars and have orbiter
images on the link at the beginning of this story's commentary. The
scientific evidence is all there as well as the Biblical evidence of a
planet between Mars and Jupiter that was destroyed suddenly, leaving
the asteroid belt we have today. There is also evidence of a
cataclysmic destruction from outside of Mars atmosphere that only
covers one hemisphere of the planet. This shows that the debris that
struck Mars was sudden and short, hitting all at once before the
planet had a chance to rotate. It would also explain the missing
atmosphere with the clear presence of water in the polar icecaps. To
top it off, there are images of the surface of mars that show clear
pyramid structures all arranged in patterns on the surface of Mars.
Who built them? Nature doesn't form pyramids like that. The answer is
in the Bible, which says that Lucifer once walked amongst the "stones
of fire," or planets. It also says God destroyed him from amongst
those planets. More on that following the Mars/Cydonia link above.
