Iran Defector: Huge Iranian Attack on Israel Inevitable

A former member of Iran�s elite Revolutionary Guard who defected to the United States told a news conference called to promote his book on Friday [July 9] that it�s only a matter of time until Iran carries out a massive attack on Israeli, European and Gulf targets. Speaking at an event sponsored by a pro-Israel think-tank in Washington, the defector (who goes by a pseudonym) called the Obama administration �naive� for misinterpreting how American overtures are seen as a sign of weakness. He predicted the Iranians will carry out �the most horrendous suicide bombing in human history�[attacking] Israel, European capitals, and [the] Gulf region at the same time.�

The former Iranian agent spied on Iran for the US for ten years before fleeing to America after the 9/11 attacks.
