“We Have Got to Eliminate the Gringos: (March 30, 2006) - The words above were spoken by Jose Angel Gutierrez, professor, University of Texas, Arlington and founder of the La Raza Unida political party. His full comment was: “We have an aging white America ... They are dying ...We have got to eliminate the gringo, and what I mean by that is if the worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him.” In a column dated March 25, 2006, by Ernesto Cienguegos titled “La Gran Marcha” surpasses all expectations, Cienguegos wrote: “What does the immense success of ‘La Gran Marcha’ mean to Mexicanos and other Latinos? It simply means that we now have the numbers, the political will and the organizational skills to direct our own destinies and not be subservient to the White and Jewish power structures. It means that we can now undertake bigger and more significant mass actions to achieve total political and economic liberation like that being proposed by Juan José Gutiérrez, President of Movimiento Latino USA. Juan José Gutiérrez is proposing that the coalition that organized ‘La Gran Marcha’ meet in Arizona or Texas on April 8 to ‘organize a mass boycott (huelga) against the economy of the USA’ to take place on May 5 or 19.” As Professor Gutierrez is proposing killing gringos, the message from Cienguegos becomes crystal clear. Make no mistake about it and I said it in my last column: millions of illegals are blatantly shoving their lawlessness right in our faces with the backing of cowardly politicians at all levels. The talk all week on cable and radio has been about the November elections and how the Republicans can’t afford to alienate the Latino vote. Not about the law, not about the massive destruction to our country from this invasion, just protect their political butts at all costs. Yellow bellied cowards. Room But for One Flag (March 30, 2006) - In 1907, during one of the great immigration waves, President Teddy Roosevelt said that the immigrant who comes here “in good faith ... shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin.” However, he added, “We have room but for one flag, the American flag.” Words well worth recalling as we noticed what student protesters decided to hoist up their high school flagpole while ostensibly demonstrating against immigration reform. In Spanish this is called reconquista, the re-conquering of Mexican land lost during the Mexican-American war (1846-48), and its appearance in Los Angeles this week adds a dark dimension to the entire immigration debate. In contrast to Mexican immigrants, those who emigrated to America in the late 19th and early 20th centuries came mostly from countries -- Ireland, Poland, Italy, Bohemia, Germany and Greece -- that had little if any significant historical dealings with the United States. Nearly all had never had colonial possessions in America, nor had lost territory on the continent in war. Their citizens emigrated because they were inspired by hopes for a new and better life, not redress for past indignities. In time they became Americans. Something entirely different motivates the Hispanic radicals. Their inspiration is anti-Americanism, which they cheerfully articulate in banners proclaiming “This is our continent, not yours!” They claim citizenship, or at least the benefits of citizenship, to be theirs by right, rather than something to be earned. And their ultimate fantasy is no different than the radical Muslim immigrants living in the slums outside Paris: To retake what they think was formerly their ancestors’ land, if not in name then in numbers. Tragically, they are able to dupe idealistic students into advancing their cause by masking their true intentions behind the facade of ethnic pride or civil rights. As the results of the Israeli Parliamentary elections were being finalized, a near total solar eclipse enveloped the land in darkness on mid-day Wednesday. Even as the new political landscape was being defined, analyzed, and confirmed on earth, the sky went dark, the sun was slowly blocked out, temperatures dropped and animals howled, barked and crowed across the Land. Was it a fluke? A solar eclipse occurs only at New Moon when the moon passes between Earth and the Sun. Viewed from inside the moon’s shadow on Earth, the moon appears to be just the right size to completely block the brilliant sphere of the Sun. The Moon’s shadow then sweeps across a portion of Earth’s surface, but the ground covered by totality (the zone of full darkness) is a band of only about 30 miles wide with a length being that portion of the globe which is under the moon’s shadow. This week, the shadow began in South America, crossed the Atlantic, Western Africa, the Mediterranean and ended in Siberia. Total eclipses are rare because they require the tilted orbits of the sun, moon and earth to line up in great precision so that the moon obscures the sun completely. The scriptures tell us that God created the “lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs…” (Genesis 1:14) Their unique purpose, the Bible says, is for “the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night...” (Genesis 1:16) From Genesis to Revelation, the moon is frequently associated therefore with the powers of the night (darkness), and serves as an apocalyptic witness signaling God’s sovereignty and the nearing of the end of the age. In light of the scriptures and the urgent prophetic nature of the hour, such a striking and well-timed lunar display over Israel on the day in which her political leadership is being reshaped should not be taken lightly. Is Cloaking Technology for U.S. Infantry Warfighters Finally Possible? Link Lost (March 31, 2006) - It’s possible that a company out of Fullerton, California called Advanced American Enterprises (AAE) has achieved the holy grail--tactical invisibility. That’s what they’re claiming, anyway. It’s called the Stealth Technology System (STS), and AAE claims that the technology really works and is ready for prime time. According to the company, STS is more effective, less expensive, and lighter-weight than any known active camouflage/cloaking tech that’s previously been under development in the past. AAE states that STS can be applied to ground vehicles, boats, infantry warfighters, and UGVs/ground robots. Any object to which STS is applied will, according to AAE, become virtually invisible, even from as little as 20-25 feet away. Wow. The STS adaptive camouflage technology is apparently still undergoing T&E for application to manned and unmanned aircraft. The actual inventor of the Stealth Technology System is Dr. Rashid Zeineh, who already reportedly has a number of previous inventions under his belt, including the first laser scanner ever (1968) and its software that “also reads DNA identity”, and anti-hijacking tech, a.k.a. a “Counter-Terrorism Device for Airplanes”. Earth Could Receive Cosmic Zap In 2012 (March 31, 2006) - An 11-year epoch of increasingly severe solar storms that could fry power grids, disrupt cell-phone calls, knock satellites back to Earth, endanger astronauts in space, and force commercial airliners to change their routes to protect their radio communications and to avoid deadly solar radiation could begin as soon as this fall, scientists announced Monday. When the solar cycle reaches its peak in 2012, it will hurl at Earth mammoth solar storms with intense radiation and clouds of high-speed subatomic particles millions of miles across, the scientists said. A storm of that magnitude could short-circuit a world increasingly dependent on giant utilities and satellite communications networks. Such a storm in 1989 caused power grids to collapse, causing a five-hour blackout in Quebec. Monday’s forecast was announced by scientists from agencies including NASA and the National Science Foundation, based on research centered at the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Colorado. There is disagreement on exactly when the new cycle will begin -- one key researcher predicted the cycle will start in late 2007 or early 2008, and another said it could begin either late this year or in early 2007. But they did agree that the most severe storms won’t begin popping on the solar surface for several years, but when they do, they’ll be huge. more...

Strong Quakes Kill at Least 50 in Iran (March 31, 2006) - Three strong earthquakes and their aftershocks reduced entire villages to rubble in western Iran early Friday, killing at least 50 people and injuring hundreds, state media reported. At least 13 tremors jolted the mountainous region throughout the night, state television reported, saying the first one had a preliminary magnitude of 5.1 and struck around 1 a.m. local time. The U.S. Geological Survey reported a 5.7 magnitude quake shortly before 5 a.m. local time., followed by a 4.7 magnitude aftershock about 15 minutes later. The area had been hit by a 4.7-magnitude quake the day before, the USGS said. The quakes were centered near Boroujerd and Doroud, two industrial cities about 210 miles southwest of Tehran, the official Islamic Republic News Agency reported. Provincial official Ali Barani said about 200 villages were damaged, some flattened. State-run television said 50 bodies had been pulled out of destroyed houses in Silakhor, a region north of Doroud. The broadcast said 850 people were injured. Barani told IRNA rescue teams had been sent to the region. He said survivors were in urgent need of blankets, tents and food. more...

Hezbollah Busted in Mexican Smuggling Operation (March 31, 2006) - FBI Director Robert Mueller said this week that his agency busted a smuggling ring organized by the terrorist group Hezbollah that had operatives cross the Mexican border to carry out possible terrorist attacks inside the U.S. “This was an occasion in which Hezbollah operatives were assisting others with some association with Hezbollah in coming to the United States,” Mueller told a House Appropriations subcommittee during a Tuesday hearing on the FBI’s budget. In a stunning revelation, Mueller admitted that Hezbollah had succeeded in smuggling some of its operatives across the border, telling the House committee: “That was an organization that we dismantled and identified those persons who had been smuggled in. And they have been addressed as well.” Hezbollah was responsible for the single most deadly terrorist attack against the U.S. before 9/11 - the Oct. 1983 bombing of the Marine barracks in Beirut, which killed 243 U.S. troops. In November, an al-Qaida operative who was on the FBI’s terrorist watch list was captured near the Mexican border, housed in a Texas jail and turned over to federal agents, according to Rep. John Culberson, R-Texas. “A confirmed al-Qaida terrorist, an Iraqi national, was held in the Brewster County jail,” Rep. Culberson told ABC Radio host Sean Hannity. “He was captured in Mexico. This was within the last six weeks. He was turned over to the FBI.”

U.N. Gives Iran 30 Days to Comply on Nuclear Program (March 30, 2006) - The U.N. Security Council demanded Wednesday that Iran suspend uranium enrichment, the first time the powerful body has directly urged Tehran to clear up suspicions that it is seeking nuclear weapons. The 15-nation council unanimously approved a statement that will ask the U.N. nuclear watchdog, the International Atomic Energy Agency, to report back in 30 days on Iran’s compliance with demands to stop enriching uranium. Diplomats portrayed the statement, which is not legally binding, as a first, modest step toward compelling Iran to make clear that its program is for peaceful purposes. The Security Council could eventually impose economic sanctions, though Russia and China say they oppose such tough measures. The document was adopted by consensus and without a vote after a flurry of negotiations among the five veto-wielding council members. In the end, Britain, France and the United States made several concessions to China and Russia, Iran’s allies, who wanted as mild a statement as possible. Still, the Western countries said the statement expresses the international community’s shared conviction that Iran must comply with the governing board of the IAEA and the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty. Enrichment is a process that can produce either fuel for a nuclear reactor or the material for a nuclear warhead. “The council is expressing its clear concern and is saying to Iran that it should comply with the wishes of the governing board,” France’s U.N Ambassador Jean-Marc de La Sabliere said. Members of the council wanted to reach a deal before Thursday, when foreign ministers from the five veto-wielding council members and Germany meet in Berlin to discuss strategy on Iran. more...

Tom DeLay Sees World War on Christianity (March 30, 2006) - The conference was entitled, “The War on Christians and the Values Voter in 2006,” so the topic of Tom DeLay’s speech to conferees came as no surprise. The scope of his comments, however, went somewhat beyond the headline. “Our faith has always been in direct conflict with the values of the world,” Rep. Tom DeLay told his audience. He added that Christians are looked down on in the U.S. as well. “We are, after all, a society that provides abortion on demand, has killed millions of innocent children, degrades the institution of marriage and all but treats Christianity like some second-rate superstition.” The Washington, D.C. conference is being hosted by Vision America, a group founded by the Rev. Rick Scarborough “to mobilize ‘patriot pastors’ of all denominations to promote Christian involvement in government.” according to the Houston Chronicle. DeLay said, “we have been chosen to live as Christians at a time when our culture is being poisoned. ... God made us specifically for it. ... Jesus Christ himself made us just so that we could live in this nation at this time.” The sermon/speech delivered by DeLay came one day before Jack Abramoff, the lobbyist linked to DeLay and some of his associates, was sentenced to six years in prison. Rev. Scarborough told the conference that DeLay had been “nearly destroyed in the press,” but that he is “a man, I believe, God has appointed ... to represent righteousness in government.” The audience included Eagle Forum Founder Phyllis Schlafly, former ambassador Alan Keyes, and Sen. Sam Brownback, R-Kan.

They have used this portal to travel across space-time, and possibly interdimensionally, and have seen into another world. What they saw there, my informant says cryptically, both frightened and intrigued them. He did not add any additional details. This research would be a follow-on to previous secret government successful research into time travel and teleportation, Los Alamos physicist Robert Lazar told about the government’s Project Galileo research into time travel, which he was briefed on when he worked at the S-4 Base south of Area 51.

Plans for Massive Blast in Nev. Draw Fire (March 31, 2006) - Plans for a Pentagon-led experiment that involves detonating 700 tons of explosives in the desert drew criticism from state leaders and a disarmament activist. The explosion scheduled for June 2 at the Nevada Test Site is part of an effort to design a weapon that can penetrate solid rock formations in which a country might store nuclear weapons or other weapons of mass destruction. “I am concerned that tests of this magnitude have been planned without providing Nevadans with any information about the possible impact on their health or safety,” said Demcratic Sen. Minority Leader Harry Reid in a statement Thursday. Nevada Test Site spokesman Darwin Morgan said the test will be conducted about 90 miles northwest of Las Vegas, near the center of the former nuclear testing site. more...

Are Shifts in Earth's Crust Causing New Orleans to Sink? (March 31, 2006) - Hurricane Katrina’s devastating strike on New Orleans last fall highlighted shortcomings in the city’s levee system. It also focused attention another long-term problem: The city and the region around it are sinking. New research suggests, however, that at least for nearby Michoud, La., the dominant driver pulling the region under may not be among the usual suspects: oil extraction, pumping groundwater to the surface, or diverting the Mississippi for navigation. Instead, the King of Slump may be a deep fault that cuts across southeastern Louisiana and under Michoud. During the 1970s, the fault appears to have contributed from 50 to 73 percent of the subsidence in this section of Orleans parish, depending on the time period measured. If sustained over a century, that would equate to as much as a six-foot sea-level rise, independent of any increase tied to global warming.If these results hold up, they would imply that to build new levees properly, engineers will have to take into account the effects of further slumping along the fault - data hard to come by because the fault is so deep and difficult to study. more...

Council on Foreign Relations President says: State Sovereignty Must be Altered in Globalized Era (March 31, 2006) - In the age of globalization, states should give up some sovereignty to world bodies in order to protect their own interests. For 350 years, sovereignty -- the notion that states are the central actors on the world stage and that governments are essentially free to do what they want within their own territory but not within the territory of other states -- has provided the organizing principle of international relations. The time has come to rethink this notion. The world's 190-plus states now co-exist with a larger number of powerful non-sovereign and at least partly (and often largely) independent actors, ranging from corporations to non-governmental organizations (NGOs), from terrorist groups to drug cartels, from regional and global institutions to banks and private equity funds. The sovereign state is influenced by them (for better and for worse) as much as it is able to influence them. The near monopoly of power once enjoyed by sovereign entities is being eroded. more...

Iran to Stage Massive Gulf Military Maneuver (March 30, 2006) - Thousands of Iranian troops will on Friday start a week-long maneuver in the Gulf to ready armed forces for warding off “threats”, a senior commander announced on state television. The commander of the navy of Revolutionary Guards Corps, Rear Admiral Mostafa Safari, did not specify the nature of the threat although the maneuver comes amid increasing tensions with the West over Tehran’s nuclear program. “The Revolutionary Guards Corps navy and air force in collaboration with (Iran’s regular) army, navy, (the volunteer militia) Basij, and the Iranian police will start a maneuver from 31 March until 6 April in the Persian Gulf and Sea of Oman,” he said. Iran has two armed forces in which both have their own ground, naval and air force all under the command of Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. He added: “We hope ... We will gain the necessary and needed readiness to decisively reply to any kind of threats.” “More than 17,000 soldiers and sailors will be used, along with 1,500 different kind of vessels, in addition to the different sorts of jet fighter planes, choppers and different missiles,” he added, but did not say whether Iran will use its ballistic missiles. more...

Translated Secret Tapes Show Bush Didn't Lie about WMD in Iraq (March 20, 2006) - “We did not reveal all that we have . . . not the type of weapons, not the volume of the materials we imported, not the volume of the production we told them about, not the volume of use. None of this was correct.”

At a four-day Intelligence Summit held last month, secret tapes were revealed, some dating back to 1995, of Saddam Hussein discussing the presence of and concealing of WMD in Iraq. An article in Investors Business Daily (IBD) maintains that this important development has been largely ignored or dismissed by the mainstream media. Yet, John Tierney, ex-FBI agent and translator of the tapes described some of the content as “disturbing,” stating that “the individuals briefing Saddam [on the tapes] were totally unknown to the U.N.” Other surprises included Saddam’s son-in-law, Hussein Kamel, “gloating” over the fact that he had fooled the U.N. inspectors. “We did not reveal all that we have,” Kamel said on the tape. “Not the type of weapons, not the volume of the materials we imported, not the volume of the production we told them about, not the volume of use. None of this was correct.” The tapes further revealed Saddam Hussein “musing” about “using proxies in a terror attack,” according to the report. DNA Shaped Nebula Discovered Near Center of Milky Way: Shows “High Degree of Order” (March 20, 2006) - First time double-helix shape has been observed outside living organisms. For the very first time, astronomers have discovered a nebula twisted into the shape of DNA. The double helix shape is commonly seen inside living organisms, notes reporter Bjorn Carey, but this is the first time it has been observed in the cosmos. “Nobody has ever seen anything like that before in the cosmic realm,” said the study's lead author Mark Morris of UCLA. “Most nebulae are either spiral galaxies full of stars or formless amorphous conglomerations of dust and gas space weather. What we see indicates a high degree of order.” According to the report in SPACE.com, the DNA nebula is about 80 light-years long and about 300 light-years from the supermassive black hole at the center of the Milky Way. Also, notes the report, the nebula is nearly perpendicular to the black hole, moving out of the galaxy at a quick clip about 620 miles per second (1,000 kilometers per second).
