HIStory, Our Future: Pearls for the BrideThis page is a work in progress... Episode 19: 70th Week Chart ReviewBringing it all together SynopsisThis series of Bible studies were put together in this order so that precept would build on precept, line upon line, from here a little and there a little. There are foundational principles that I’ve come to understand from my study of Bible prophecy that can change the whole trajectory of where you end up in the interpretation of scripture. To that end, my goal has been to let scripture interpret scripture and take God at His Word, adjusting my understanding as needed to align with what He says. I know I still have a lot of growth in this, but I feel the information that has led to here has a strong foundation upon which to build understanding so we are not in darkness about what God is about to do. The first chart that will be reviewed grew from just organizing the exact-day prophecies of Daniel and John to incorporating the moedim as I began to understand how they played into the reason for 3½ years, 42 months, and 1,260 days. The 70th Week Framework and Moedim Years chart developed out of curiosity as to how often the 1,260 days would land on significant moedim both before and after the central point of Yom Kippur, which seemed to be the starting point for God’s wrath at some point in the future. To my surprise, looking at a small subset of years, it fell within a day of firstfruits 60% of the time and within several days 86% of the time. What is interesting is that just having a framework of exact-day prophecies allows one to plug in the dates and see how things line up. In this 15 year span of time looking at Yom Kippur, only 20% of the time did everything line up on significant days for both the start of the week and the end of the week plus 45 days. All of this is due to the nature of a lunar religious calendar shifting across the solar agricultural calendar to which the two are tied. This seemed a significant piece of information to share in relation to the framework chart above from which it was derived.
