Episode 7: Visions of Daniel and John

Prophetic Visions of History and Future

Synopsis

When going back to study the visions of Daniel and John, I decided to chart out what could be determined as historical fulfillment and future fulfillment in each of their visions. What resulted was a comprehensive vision of the prophetic timeline that showed some amazing mirrors and foreshadows from history related to the future.

• Revelation 17: covering Jerusalem and the Dragon through history and the unfaithful harlot
• Daniel 2: Babylon to the Messianic Kingdom
• Daniel 8: the abomination of desolation, foreshadowed and mirrored
• Daniel 11-12: Antiochus to false christ
• Daniel 7: the rise of the false christ kingdom
• Revelation 11: the temple and two witnesses
• Revelation 12: the faithful woman and the dragon
• Revelation 13: the false christ Kingdom
• Revelation 18: the unfaithful harlot in Jerusalem and her judgement

When laying these out in a timeline showing the vision, interpretation given in scripture, and the historical record, the eight kingdoms suddenly made more sense and both Daniel and John’s visions complimented and expounded upon each other in some eye opening ways.
